Which has a huge local music scene. I pass thousands of gig posters everyday, and a band has to have a hell of a poster in order to stand out from the masses. Your poster is no where close to being effective. Are you a designer or a friend or band member trying to help out? If you are a designer, I suggest you review even the basic rules of composition, color theory, and artistic value. If you are a band member or friend, I suggest you hire a designer. If you can't afford one, ask around at a local college. A lot of times design students are more than willing to work cheap or free for the publicity.
Also: Go to www.gigposters.com. These are the music posters that are making headway and bringing people into shows. Not all of them are great, but it is enough to give you an idea of what it takes to convey the music, passion and focus of the band.

waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too soft for a rock banner. The text "The greatest hits of Queen performed by" is way too small, and the "Live Killers" is very hard to read because of the typography. Also, try and justify the text, or at least align it to the left. It's looking pretty messy and it doesn't feel as part of a whole, you know?
Is this an album? A poster? Is "Live Killers" the name of the band? Is it the Killers, and they're live? Isn't Killers already a famous band? When is it? Where is it? If for some reason I knew what was going on, I may want to know these things.
Or is this an example of what you can assemble at mybannermakers.com? Whats the message?

This is terrible
It is terrible, tasteless, ineffective, poor and on top of all, it was designed in Microsoft Word. This doesn't belong in this site, please, go away.
I think is spam folks....
