Rest of the layout is nice and clean, but the font in the logo In my opinion doesnt work, you might want to use a more formal font?

Thanks for the comment. I actually had a different font for the logo, but the client was already using that font and wanted it on the site. I tried to talk them out of it but didn't have much luck.

http://www.artsmerced.org/ is more suitable for an arts council website.

Look around other art council sites to get a better idea

I was really looking for a bit more color with my design. The Merced design looks good, but I don't think I could see it in white really.
