Logisitcs Company

Website for a huge logistics company that we built a portal for here at http://www.thegtigroup.com that then links you to the 4 other sites we also designed and programmed. All run off one database for content management and each with it's own unique look. Some mixed Flash, PHP5, AJAX and so on. Fun stuff. Your thoughts?

I hate that purple background, but other than that it is solid.

Not a fan of that myself but it's the corporate color. Luckily there are 3 other colors in play on the 'sister' sites for the company that you can check out here:

This is a great use of Flash: where the subject is movement and rapid fulfillment rather than serenity (as in the landscaping site, which as you know I find twitchy in the extreme).

I like the subtle shifts in tonality between the background colors for the different sister sites, based on that corporate blue that you're stuck with. I think you've also used diffusion and other effects in some of the photos with a light hand, so it has impact without drawing attention to itself and away from the client's message.

Very, very nice.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand what you're saying about the landscaping peice. I think by simply removing the vertically animated text it would simplify things 10 fold, so I'll be talking to the client about it.

That's great, Michael. I think they'll realize that less is more in their case.
