logo

Hi,

Name of the main project is Mother Unknown.

Project will start with design (thats why I was looking for MUD in shape of the logo) and then i will develop small branches of everything which "I like".

Mother Unknown Design, MU gallery, MU cafe, MU jewerly, MU ecology.

I was thinking that MUD in logo will not disturb even if it relate to Jewerly, for instance.
But I realised that the logo looks better when it is just inverted question mark with a breast, pregant.
Without too many "interpretation" options.

What do you think,guys?
Thanks for comments,
i.

this will not be commercial.

Same here. No idea what that's supposed to be - don't see the "breast" or the "pregnant" aspect at all. It's also way too tiny in those big circles. I will say - on a positive note - that it does remind me somewhat of the Peter Max era of the 60s. Perhaps you should spend a little time researching that - maybe you can refine the idea so it works.

Logo's are focused entities that have a clear direction and goal, even when ubiquitous large companies that participate in multiple markets they know what it will be for and what they hope to accomplish with it. I really don't think there's any focus going on at all here, what's this for?

looks like some weird aardvark-seal-fox looking up at a door knob in one orientation. then a jacked up scimitar in the other.

nice line control. but completely jacked-up concept.

I agree with everyone else. I don'e see the things in this design that you want people to see. And what does mud have to do with anything? Are you thinking of some kind of creative primordial ooze? Then you want Earth Mother, not an actual pregnant female. And by the way, pregnant females don't normally have breasts *inside* their giant tummies. The silhouette doesn't work for that concept, for that reason.

The oozy question mark is kind of a fun idea. It does indeed have Peter Max possibilities.

If you go with that logo, your name will be MUD in this industry. Literally.

i agree. i think it's cute and interesting, but it doesn't communicate anything to me. even with your description.

Looks like a moon being blown out of a horn. Interesting shape, but no more.

I appreciate your comments, thanks.
Is now the shape better, or you can still see the "jacked-up" concept?

I gave up MU and the small mark inside, hoping that it will help. I think that now the mother and the question mark is visible, but i might be wrong....

so cool that somewhere in the world are some people with good visual taste ready to express honest opinion...;-)

(having troubles in putting the image here, its becoming soooo long, changing the shape badly; nevermind...)

And this is for a design company?

You're trying way too hard. I'm also trying to figure out the name "Mother Unknown"

Only thing I can add is that I see a chicken drumstick with a bite taken out of it. Maybe it's because I'm hungry.
