How cool...posting your sketches. I feel this is the strongest stage of design.

Now, onto SHIWON.

Bottom version. I especially like the digitization of the letter "i". I think, down the road, that you could have some fun playing with these geometric shapes--working them into other areas of your design.

The last few letters, however, are reading WGN to me, and the initial letter, "S" is looking more like a "c". I would tread carefully when overstylizing letters.

I love the sketches but something keeps jumping out at me: Why are you trying to make it hard to read your name on purpose? It's like you haven't fully committed to that design direction--it's half legible and half not.

I'd recommend picking one and going for it all the way. If you want it illegible, go more "graffiti" style. If you want it more computerized, make the lettering consistent. What you are doing here, really, is creating your own font and it has to be consistent through all letters, not just S H I W O and N.

Why not focus more on creating a logo, instead of creating a font?
All of your logos ideas have felt the same, and it doesn't look like you're changing anytime soon.

Try this for something different: In a new sketch, decide on a regular serif or sanserif font. Write out Shiwon. Then create a mark to go along with that.

Not saying you have to go with a logo like that, but it looks like you're stuck right now. Try using fonts that have already been created. It might help you get out of this, and give you ideas you haven't thought of.

Thank you guys for the comments once again. I can honestly say that im stuck as some of can tell. Nato obviously im NOT trying to make it hard for the viewers to read my name, for one its hard for them to pronounce my name!!

but i do appreciate the 2 suggestion you have given me (graffiti and computerized)suggestions, maybe i will look into that. Also i can agree on the fact that the more i look at it, and you guys pointing it out that im moving towards in designing a font rather than a logo. These ideas were based on the my first design where i used "sad" and most people pointed out that "using your initial isnt a good idea, play around with shiwon you'll have tons of fun with that" Well right now its back to more ideas and sketches. But i do thank you guys greatly for the help so far !!

Its a CHALLENGE, and we all love challenges

Sorry, I was just trying to point out that was happening; I shouldn't have commented on your intentions.
