What kind of interior decorating do they do? We need a little more information to know what to critique.
My first impression was the house is kind of messy looking - it looks like a little kid drew it - not something I would look for when getting my home decorated. The industry is modern design in most cases (although, maybe this company is different) so I would suggest making it classier - perhaps clean, round edges would be a good idea instead of lines that look hand drawn.
Also, the icon of a house doesn't tell me anything about the company - before reading your description I thought it was a real-estate company. Maybe think of a different image to portray interior decorating.
there is nothing that stands out about this concept, also as a side note, there is too much emphasis on "HOME". You need to come up with 5 or 6 different concepts, then work on variations of those concepts...looks like you've only explored doing it one way. Brainstorm and come up with some different possibilities.
it really looks like a logo for a realtor and not an interior designer. The name conveys that also, but that's not your fault, i think you really have to stray away from the outside of the house idea and try to convey being inside of it..

I agree with archmedia, it looks like a realtor logo. The colour is too sober for my taste. And seraphim made a good point too about the house looking very childish.
Why the two diff fonts? I really don't see how that makes a statement. I think yo should try to convey the type of interior design your client does, say something about the personality of the company. The way I see it, interior design is all about spaces, colour and distribution, maybe you could try and incorporate those concepts in your design. Good luck!
While I like what you've done, I wonder if the chirpy font isn't a little too 'lite'? Is the logo supposed to look like a print from a chinese chop block? I like that; might that need to be more overt - more organic edges perhaps?
