one last critique and I'm pulling the trigger on the logo so I can start on my website, and also for thoughts on weather the mascot could be possible for banners etc.
Where'd you get the character on the left from?

in terms of skills I can actually do pretty much all 3, I'm planning to make my portfolio very diverse I have some web stuff, I'm gonna have some illustration for artistic skills and I even have some 3d models I can put in there if I need, but I do know animation fairly well myself as well.
Well your strength is obviously illustration, you should definitely pursue that field. Your logo design was kinda weak at first to be honest, absolutely dreadful actually, but tied in with the mascot and a colourful website you won't have any problems getting into animation or illustration. This turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
In regards to the logo lose the parrot. you're trying to put too much into a logo which is supposed to be simple. I'd even lose the feet too, you'll lose those when shrunk down. I'm not crazy about the "drool" or whatever it is hanging down from his face. Again, you want to simplify simplify simplify. As a whole this is pretty good actually. Let's see the site now.

I haven't even started the website yet cause the color pallet and the feel of the website is gonna be based off the logo thus me wanting to do one last one before starting up
Hey man, what do you think about:
> refine the boot: it seems egg shell pieces
> traces: decide if you want rounded or squared.
> spaces between shapes: uniform them
> get lost the "p"enis
> that hat will work better if you put a "real gothic P" or a sword or skull
inside the hat
> this parrot will never work, better to put a wing
yes I'm brazilian xD
I'm liking the penguin logo. It's a real solid form. The character is great, but I'm finding it a bit 'noir' in terms of the lighting and choice of garments - Maybe this was your intention...
Also, I'm not really digging the mascot on his/her shoulder at all...Try something else, other than strokes?
This looks like penguin for me. Both the illustration and the logo.

Damn - this train wreck is actually back on the rails! You almost have something going there on the right. Still needs a HELL of a lot of refinement - but now I actually see a penguin in there somewhere.
