Logo Design Book

I am pretty good at web design. I just have a problem coming up with good logos and typefaces to use on my client's websites. I am looking for a good logo design book, not only with examples but with explanation too.

I just don't want to look at good logos. I want to see how they are made.

Thanks.

You should get Elements of Typographic Style to learn the basics of typography. It's boring and long but essential and extremely useful.
