There is no doubt about which is the strongest in my opinion.
I was immediately drawn to the bottom logo. It's very well balanced and communicates 'an EYE' very clearly. I also like that type selection the best of those presented.
Note: If this is a company dealing with 'contact lens' you might want to also try a more rounded typeface for comparison to soften the 'sharpness' on some of the letters. [Not sure it will be better, just a thought]
i like the bottom one too, though i'd try to make the shapes just a little bit bigger. I do however really like the one with the squared of circles over it (second row, right side) though with the typography treatment of the one above it.
I like the transparency of the contact shapes, and the type-face that you chose - and being a contact lense wearer myself, I relate the logo to the blue-tinted contacts I have. :D
My second choice would be the bottom logo, it has some good elements too, but I don't think the font fits as well as it could.
I truly like the very bottom design, but my favorite (and the first one I was drawn to) was the fourth one (the 2nd row, right side). I think it's modern, and it definitely conveys the whole concept of eyes—whether or not you wear glasses or contact lenses. It seems to cover all of that.
I really like the extra-light font you chose. It's a great sans serif font and it works really well with your design concept. I'm anxious to hear what the client thinks. Do share...
I think the 1st one on the second row looks most like the lens of an eye, which is basically where most lenses end up: being looked through by eyes. :)
I love the 4th one (second row, right). The others are just too "blah swash, seen it all before" except for the one with the dots above -- I can't for the life of me figure out what that's supposed to signify.
I mean, I *really* love the square one. Nice work!

everyone, thanks for the feedback. the client ended up choosing the bottom one but now he wants to change the font to Optima.... sigh*. I´ll posto the final logo so ya´ll can see it. thanks again!!!!!!
The 5th one is too generic in my view and screems "cheap optician"; even if the shape is very communicative it has already been overused too much.
The 4th one is suggestive of things (lights) getting in and out of focus (makes me think of the little trailer Focus Features uses in front of their movies).
The type supports that.
I agree that it could be a little bit less symetrical.
Especially the comment about looking like a cheap generic lens place. Honestly, that square one is beautiful. And it has potential for adjustment. When color isn't an expense issue, the circle, or partial circles, could be the several different eye (or lens) colors.

I think the square one is worth using or perfecting. Color is appropriate. Type is good.

Perfectly Lost Designs
I must agree with the above comments...

Hey....
Last logo is most appropriate because of their looks, it looks like a eye which is the aim of your project....

choose the fourth one, the one with the transparency. all the other don't convey the feeling of a lens manufacturer.
