Logo Design for Tre Paul Fashion

This is my first post. I was asked by my friend Tre to recreate a logo he sketched for his upcoming Men's fashion line. By the way, this logo is still a work in progress. Please let me know your comments and suggestions.

Well, The typography is strange, It goes with the logo style your going for but its very hard to read. Im finding it hard to look at, it makes me dizzy, so much black and white and it.. well honestly im just not sure what im looking at. Maybe try making the ribbons a little different. And attach them. Or have it more like a plaque rather then a pin with random floating ribbons.
With a few changes it'd look great. Just keep at it. You did awesome with what ur friend gave you. So keep on truckin!
