A logo for a client I made at my work.

Critical Wall

I hit a critical wall. I like this piece a lot. On top of that, I can't find anything wrong with it that I can critique. If I had to say one thing I'd probably say to use the yellow color for the flags as well. That's just a matter of preference on my part, though. Great work!

Nice, but.....

It is nice, but the long tern use for print/web/etc...may be problematic.

I would simplify it or just offer a similar, sinmplified version. That is not going to hold up on a business card, fax, letterhead etc. Remember the client very well might want to fax a letterhead....how would it look. Most likely, pretty bad.

I do like the design.....

The Logo

Sorry guys!
I didn't explained much about the logo. It's only going to be used in a pruduct package. With full color usage and good print quallity.
It's still gonna have a reduced version. With less details for use in business card, fax, letterhead...

Thanks all the comments.

What sort of client are they?

I googled the company name and all i got was italian websites and some of which were relating to boats and shipping... Which I assume is what your client does?

It would be interesting to know what type of client they are (what they do).

once again, nice work :)

The Client

Let´s go Jammo...
It´s a small client here at Brazil.
They´re producers of fine cheeses. Like gruyère, edam, gouda and others...
You´re gonna ask me why the boat? It´s because of the history of the city where the company is.
The city started as a port in the edges of a river. It grew´up and turned a city.
Therefore the name. Porto Reale = Kingdom´s Port (or something like that... :) )

I like it :)

Its nice that the logo shows history about the products home, rather than about the product... its nice :)

Two color, no problem

This would translate well into black and white. That's usually the first thing I consider when looking at a logo. Good work.
