I like 3 & 4, but not the type on 3 because it's overpowered by the shell and doesn't feel cohesive. 4 is my favorite. Nice work

#7 is nice too, but it's a little hard to read. #8 is clean and simple. you can't go wrong with clean simple stuff.. i don't like the shell in any of the first four designs only cause i feel it wouldn't come out nicely if it was faxed.

the ability to clearly see a logo once faxed is something i was taught long ago, even if faxes aren't that popular anymore. try to just photocopy it in black and white, it's the same idea.

with that said, i find 5 and 6 appealing, but i feel they've been done many a times. maybe try to incorporate those with some of #8.

nice concepts.. keep em going

8 ball in the corner pocket. It's the best of this bunch for a number of reasons.

Number 8 and only number 8.

but I need to know more about the target audience.... that changes a lot. Where is this beach store? What age are the women who would shop there? What is the price point? I think everyone (myself included) chose #8 because it looked like it carried the most class.

The store is located in Bogota (Colombia) in a very hip park with lots of club/restaurants. The target audience is women, ages 25-40, with high income.

#8 is really the only option. The others are "see-say" and quite frankly, the shell in the others is quite ugly. Simple. Simple. Simple. I can't say that enough. Logos are supposed to be simple. You've accomplished that with #8.

Although I would use the blue from #7 in place of the gray in #8.

Honestly 8 is great, but I feel like it lacks the engergy to stick out enough in the setting you described where the store is going to be. 7 is high energy, the concern with 7 is that, like people have said, it might be hard to read (I'm not having a hard time reading it now, but that's probably b/c I saw all your logos at once, legible...). If you do stick with 8, i agree that you should make the gray the blue from 7. Good luck.
