LOGO FOR BEACH CONDO
julianaduque (168 points) | Mon, 2008-02-11 19:26THIS IS A LOGO FOR A BEACH CONDO IN SAN ANDRES ISLAND (OF THE COAST OF COLOMBIA). THE CLIENT WANTED SOMETHING VERY TROPICAL BUT ALSO VERY CLASSY, SOMETHING THAT WASN'T CLUTTERED. THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH...

This one isn't doing it for me. At first glance, I thought the graphic in the upper left-hand corner was a disjointed moose...
Breeze should be more free flowing, not chopped and stifled.
"at Sarie Bay" I wouldn't touch. That works, especially if you go a little more fluid with the word "Breeze".

I really like the color, and I think it boads well with the "tropical theme", however, the graphic artwork you have in the upper left corner seems unsuited to the name "Breeze".
"Breeze" would be communicated well with softer lines, smoothness, with a flowing feeling, relaxation, etc. This image you have communicates a harshness to me - and almost resembles a weird bug or animal.
Hope this helps.

I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY CHANGING THE GRAPHIC FOR SURE, THE COLOR IS PRETTY GOOD FOR THE SUBJECT MATTER FOR SURE... ALSO TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS ANNOYING TO READ!
I like the concept, just keep messing with it trying different imagery and fonts.
Hi I'm also from Colombia (cali) the simplicity of it is very interesting as well as the fresh green. maybe combining another color will make it even more fresh and relaxing. make the font smaller to give the color more room and blow the vector so it takes over more negative space. San andres island is an tropical unique experience and you are definitely going somewhere with the idea. again combining maybe another vector with this one in another color will convey more the island spirit.
