Logo ideas (Revised)

Revised yet again...

I am trying to keep this logo very simple so I plan on keeping it black and white. I changed spacing from original and took away color and the font choices from the revision 1. I really like the font I have chosen but I will continue to experiment with other font choices.

Thank you again!

there is no way someone

there is no way someone would kern it to be like that so im assuming you just upped the tracking.. take the tracking down by like 50% on everything. i like white space but it is so spread out, my brain reads each letter individually before it reads an actual word(specifically 'photography'). its almost frustrating to read. it took me a minute to make the connection between the logo and a camera but i like where its going, keep working with it.

Buncha letters.

Yep, the tracking is so high that it just looks like a bunch of scattered letters. I would avoid using the mark as the letter "a" as well. Also, there doesn't seem to be anything solid holding this down - like it could float away. Perhaps make the mark a little more weighty or change the font (however much I love Century Gothic or similar, it doesn't work for everything.)

Okay, first the positive:

Okay, first the positive: Your icon has potential, it's just too thin right now to be a good icon. Thicken up the line.

Now, for the criticism: the fonts chosen are awful. Why Impact and that other, scripty, font whose name I've chosen to forget? Yuk! Try some different fonts that have more character. Trajan and Meta come to mind as just two possibilities (but better not use those).

Don't give up. And definitely don't start adding color till you have the black and white shape determined.

You might want to post the new one as an attachment - now the previous critiques don't make any sense and there is nothing to refer to.

As far as the icon goes I

As far as the icon goes I think it's awesome. Maybe what you need to do is give the logo some "air" space between the icon and the words, space between the letters and a font that's nos so bold and wide as your icon is very light and flowing.
I prefer the logo in all black, and the script font does nothing for me, maybe a classic serif font would work nicely and experiment with the distribution of the items.

I agree with julianaduque

I agree with julianaduque about a possible classic serif font. Right now your sans serif font is too heavy and the script font is weak. I do like where you're going with the camera mark.

I like the 4th one. The logo

I like the 4th one. The logo actually looks like a logo more. In the other ones, it looks like...i don't know...a symbol of some sort.
