Its a new brand of clothing: INVOKE. Its a creative clothing style which requires creative input in each and every of collection...Invoking fresh ideas.
Interesting - did you draw the totem yourself? Because this would be the last place to use clip art (you know that... right?) The font works very well with the art, but "invoke" needs more heft imho (and maybe a capital "I"). The two pieces also seem disconnected to me - there's nothing holding the entire idea together as one. I'd work on that if I were you - the physical relationship between name and mark.
Another minor point is those white teeth are going to be problematic at times (like one color jobs) - but the split should work without the white (more or less).
The tiki does look an awful lot like clip-art I've seen. If your gonna use a tiki as the logo you need to do your research. A tiki usually represents a specific Deity in Polynesian culture so pick the right tiki for the job. Do some more digging for this logo. I like the font choice on the bottom, but would like to see the "i" as a capital letter imho.
I think I like it and the missing link would be added if you say this clothing line specializes in the use of local fabrics to make urban wear.
Does it?
Here is the updated version. Yes it is a local brand meant for Urban wear.
I had to modify the mouth as the one colour version looks odd with the same old shape.
My only concern is the uppercase "I"; it looks like "L".
Yeah - I thought it looked a little clip-arty. Nice catch, Donk.
Good lesson for the kiddies - pinch and you'll probably be pinched. Better to get busted here than out in the world where it will cost you a client and probably a nice chunk of change too.
I love the typography. Tiki doesn't say "new" to me, unless it was for surfing clothes and accessories- Then it would still need a different edge to it. But at least you used an attractive more modern version of a tiki.
looks like every other maori or hawaiian logo to me but, i am from there so....too bad its a fake

Overall - a nice start. Good work.
I like it too. I agree with Art, and definitely ditch the white. Use two colours.

I wanted to stress on the symbol. That's why i kept the font simple and thin enough.
Thank you. These would definitely help.
I'll upload the updated version soon.
Invoking fresh ideas huh?

I quite like it. Work on a single color version first.

The mouth fix worked for me. The capital "I" doesn't. And these are still two separate pieces for me - not a one unit brand.
The kerning needs tweaking too.
Thought I saw this tiki before. http://www.dreamstime.com/comp.php?imageid=3467726&type=1 You should redo this you may get yourself into trouble.
Nice catch ;p we where looking at ripped artwork.

Searched under tiki's or Hawaii pattern. Lol, I actually have this graphic in my-clipart collection.
auch! caught! no problem i do understand that not everybody uses to draw tikis
oooops.... -1,000,000,000.
I have seen many a logo being pointed out here as being too close to another design, but never complete plagiarism.
It seems the team here have eagle eyes...
living on dreams and custard creams.
Well that's quite pathetic.
Your a fricken idiot.
