this logo is for an online rsvp service - it will be used in both print and web... i have the option to spice it up for the website, but would like to keep it simple and clean for screenprint and embroidery... critique away - unleash the lions!!!

That mixed caps in the word "onLine* is giving me irritable bowels. The logo is nothing to write home about. It's very generic and forgettable. I'd start over completely. Even nudging up the P to be at the same level as the other letters would vastly improve this.
Also seeing this logo in black and white would help determine whether it works or not.

If you're going to keep going with this, maybe try rethinking the difference in kerning between the 'R' and the 'SVP'... maybe even a different (slightly more synonymous) font for the three letters. Right now, to me, it reads "RSP is (check) online [these days]".
From success to failure is one step. From failure to success is a long road.
I think the RSVP part with the check for the v is the genesis of an idea that might work. But as it stands, I would rework the entire thing and keep my mind open to new ideas as well. It's clunky and breaks way too many rules for no good reason.

Using symbol of "right" should have some reason and I don't see any reason here. Another thing that letter "V" isn't visible and gets dominated by right symbol. Mixed caps truly sucks whole concept, it sounds right symbol has been placed forcefully as there are no space for it.
