logo ricardokloth.com ok
Anonymous | Fri, 2005-04-22 20:33I decided to start over again, new logo, new website, new style, since I not yet have 'introduced' myself to the community.
I thought maybe I should get a simple, clean logo, people will easily remember. I'm not sure if im going to use it. I'd like to hear your opinions because I also got great feedback on the webby I posted.
Also I would like to to hear your opinions on the font, I'm not entirely satisfied with that either.
P.S: Still haven't received my validation mail, sorry for posting anonymous :<
Thanks ! :)

Wow! I love the little sketches on the bottom of the page, but I think you took it too far. R and K can't be found in the logo anymore. It reads "on". I like the look. Also, i would separate your first and last names. There is no reason for them to be joined. At least make the last name bolder or different color to make it easier to read.

Yeah, i like it too, clean/abstract look. But r+k disappeared completly... Ivan got it right..
I see a rotated 9, or g.. And the name seperation (at least make one of them bolder or something) is a must imho :)
I dont know whether your name is Ricard Okloth or Ricardo Kloth etc.
For some reason I am thinking of "Gap". Not just the block with the logo, but the font underneath.
Anyways, I think it won't have that effect once it's in color (as long as it's not blue). I like it, I just don't think anyone is going to understand the thought process behind the logo.
The icon, which does not read as the letters you intended, is too heavy for the chosen font.

i agree with the above about the r and k being lost. but more importantly, the fonts chosen for your name don't match the look of the logo. when i first saw the logo, it was a six to me. then the font is a bit too 80's for me. but definitely look into the other suggestions about ways of seperating your first and last name. eiather with a space or bolding one name over the other.
Very nice and clean logo, but i also think you should try separating the name, either with a space or with some contrast (bold/normal, normal/oblique, normal/caps).
Good work :)
