Their creation and design is based on the investigation of the Before Columbus Cultures of Ecuador and Latin America.
I compete international carried out in Rosario, Argentina in the Congreso ALADI. Argentina in 1995.
The winner was Ecuador with this logo and his respective corporate image.
At the moment the other associate countries added the respective color of their country.

Reminds me of the Adobe logo. Umm... the text is almost entirely illegible, unfortunately.
This mark is an entire design project. In the they are present the laws of the gestalt and foundations of the design like the figure and background.
The symbol of Adobe is completely different. it is a simple mark, not a logo like ALADI and at the same time, it is also an isotipe.By the way, it is very readable.
