Ok.... i really like this concept and i had somethign similar for another logo for my site, but i wanted to make something shorter more of a logo..... so i came of with this.
fonts: Cooper Black / Gill Sans.
Tell me what you think and if i am subconciously ripping anything off.

Hmm...
I like the concept, the more I look at it. Just something about the serif font that bugs me. Maybe it's too full/bold in contrast to the sans font in "Design"?

I can't say that I really like it. It screams old and not current. I think you need to at least find a new font. It looks a bit too cartoonish - like a title from a kids book.

Basics
Enjoy your logo! This prototype is an adventure into what it should not be. (Sorry) You have a good font choice and I think you should have fun with it. You currently have to look at a basic scale. Try using the letters of your name to represent what it is you are about without doing the letters twice. HAVE FUN!
