Looking for one application

I make some work that need some images as references (3D, Ilustrations, etc.). Then the question is: Are there a program that can have an image or text in a floatiig window over all, that can be repositioned in any place of the screen and resizable? somethig like the "Globals results" in the Art Directors Toolkit but that can contain images or text as a reference.
BTW: -Sorry for my spell, english doesn't so far my first language-

Do you want to have those images in a floating window like in a clipboard, so you can grab them any time? You can try ShadowClipboard for powerful clipboard functions.
Or you can simply use Stickies and select the Note/Floating Window menupoint to have it hanging on the top of everything. Stickies can hold any clipboard content.

I don't use Stickies since de OS 8.5 era, now I belive it's time to use it again.
I'm loving dashboard stickies, they don't get in the way, but they're there when you want them.
I may be a little mixed up, but I'd also look into Adobe Bridge in CS2, I'm finding to be an AWESOME resource for stashing collections. I don't know if it holds text files, but I'm betting it does.
