Just as a reference, here is how unhealthy sitting is.

unless you have a place to rest your elbows, i'm thinking it will put strain on your shoulders eventually.
Yes, there is, like on an armchair.
Really... Relief from sitting?
Really?

I've been looking into standing desks so I'd definitely be interested in seeing something like this in the flesh (wood?) - and seeing it tested out.
One key issue I can see is that it only allows for a very limited area of access (basically what you can reach). On a desk or table you can lean over and grab stuff from anywhere on the desk (or even floor depending on your particular filing system). It's also much easier to get up from a desk and walk around. Something like a sliding tray would get around this. You could pile stuff along the tray and pull/push it to get at what you are after.
im quite certain this would introduce a dozen new ergonomic problems.
least of which would be puffy faces. and a ring around your face from hours in "the donut"
dumb idea.
Yep, all you need now is some crayons.
You know that thing will be used for nothing other than sex games after the first month or so.
i still think the desk with a hidden nap compartment is a much better idea.
