m identity
I know is a little late, cause I promised to submit a new work a few days ago, but I did some maintenance to mi lovely iMac, and I'm getting used to Tiger :). Well, here is it.
This could sound very weird, but this logo is one of the top-in-the-list ones, cause it's all about me and I feel very comfortable with it. The other day, I was sketching and sketching, and then I notice something. When I use a lot the pencil, my fingers get dirty and everytime I stop them to rest over the paper, I get these little distorted circle shapes. And after that I realized all the Idea. I mean, these fingers, my own fingers, are the guys who realy support my work. And this espontaneous print is the proof. Why those colors? The thumb is green cause is the one who let us hang things, and without my chance to grab things, especialy my pencil, I cannot concibe a life. The index is orange cause is a finger wich give us a lead sometimes, let us push a button, is the energy. And the mid one is blue cause is the balance and strong of the things.
Cheeses, and after the whole novel, you can destroy it if you like, but I like this one a lot and speaks a lot of me ;). BTW, thanks GaryW for yout last comment on my work, it helps a lot.

hmm
I really like it. I think your concept is too loose, but the logo itself is intresting and unique. One little thing, the "o" in the name kinda looks like and "a." I'd take off that bit at the top and be more direct and simplistic with your concept and you will be set.

and...
I might try a few options with the spots smaller, they seem to dominate.

Well without all the color
Well without all the color stuff and explanations, the main idea is the fingerprints that I see in my sketches :). I'll be working on the "o"'s and the sizes of the dots. Thanks for your comments.

personality!
Okay, now this one tells me something about you. Although your own personal meanings to the color choice may remain a mystery to the viewer, there's still much conveyed by the organic shapes and color palette. You're out from the box... that's a good thing. Your name is the message, another good thing.
Its a mark that will be memorable. What it needs is a bit more finesse with the typography, like 'dpc' mentioned above, and I think you could explore some variations in the size and spatial relationship between the type and the image.
Just a thought
the two "o"s in the title are the exact same. It looks as if you have used a handwriting typeface or something. Mod the second one to look a little different and it will feel more authentic.
Love the rationale, great
Love the rationale, great story behind the logo. I like the logo on its own too. I have some issue with the font. How about making the logo symbol more prominent and the logotype sort of secondary. Atm they are fighting for attention. No hiearachy between the elements. Also, the symbol is already very playful, making the type playful too in a different way makes confusion. See what I have in mind:
