Mac 2 PC Illustrator CS files?
pompo (998 points) | Wed, 2005-04-13 13:39Is there anything to worry about when sending
Mac Illustrator CS files to Pee Cees people using Illustrator CS as well?
This is for print work and I have no idea since I deal most of the times
with companies using Macs..

Then you will use a Mac.

I can't see it being an issue. My sister and I have swapped files between Mac and PC versions of Illustrator without any problems.

The one place you may have problems with is fonts, of course. If you can get away with it, convert all your fonts to paths/outlines before sending it off to the PC people. Fortunately, Windows fonts work just fine on a Mac running OSX. On the flip side, it's hard enough just trying to explain to a Windows user what a font is, and where to find them – I usually get the "how do I get the fonts out of the menu bar?" line.
