MAC Dash

couple of thoughts.

dash looks like an afterthought. both the year and the word dash contrast in too many ways from the rest, they look like a different style. plus they just look like they were slapped on there.

2008 looks like it doesn't fit properly. probably because you have it lined up with the top/bottom edge of the white box behind the red box. but since the corners are curved, it looks off optically.

dash looks like it was just put below the rest and centered. there's no solid relationship between the word dash and the rest.

your icons are interesting, and that's not a bad start. but you need to figure out how to make everything relate together and look like one coherent piece.

Agree 100% with gwells, I like the direction, but the layout and placement just isn't working. In your other post natobasso recommended trying to stack everything, I actually could see that working quite well with varying font-weights and sizes.

I would place the word DASH underneath MAC and kern it so it's aligned properly.

Otherwise, I think it's an excellent execution.
