Mac Mail

I have a client using Mac Mail. She's about as green and technophobe as they come, and 1200 miles away. When she attaches photos or graphics to her e-mails for new projects, Mail is rezing them down and converting to RGB, even if the base files are none of the above. Is there some sort of setting I can tell her to change? I've set up an FTP for her and graphics, but due to her technophobia, it would be a lot easier to just fix the Mail setting.

Yes, there is a setting described here:

I'm not at my mac at the moment so can't check how you would set the default as 'Actual size', but I assume you can.

Tell her to compress the files (.zip, .sit). That will solve the reformatting issue and make the files smaller to boot.
