Google Chrome for Mac OS X pre-release

This is a stable and official version from Google, far from complete, but still worth downloading to experience Chrome on OSX. It's lightweight and fast. The interface is clean and easy to use. Looks great within OS X.
In this current version you won't yet be able to view YouTube videos (or any other flash content), change your privacy settings, set your default search provider, or even print. The application icon is still bad and it's unlikely to get fixed.

It's not exactly fair to evaluate developer release software but you submit something to the Mac community (which has a strong foundation in criticism) then we should probably scrutinize the details.
I've noticed a couple of things:
- expanding the window using the lower right corner seems does create a larger window but it seems as though the scroll bar is not catching up to the window size very well. Again, unfair, but a release is a release.
- the handle in the lower right corner to expand window sizes seems to disappear intermittently.
- users close tabs on the right instead of the traditional left side (a la Arronax's Firefox themes, Safari, etc.). Not a huge thing, but standardizing is a good thing in my opinion.
- No mouseover event to close tabs. It's just an 'x' which doesn't change tone, highlight or any other sign of interactivity.
- Pages are compiled oddly, but almost after the browser winks at me. Seems strange, but I assume their still trying to properly integrate Webkit.
- It's fast. SSssssssss.
- Cannot yet access bookmarks, though I believe this has been documented with the lack of Flash player.
- ONMOUSECLICK events to show interactivity seem to work fine. I love the elegant gradient of blue to dark blue/purple.
These, just to name a few. All in all, I look forward to seeing a browser that combines Webkit's speed and light weight with Firefox's extensibility (Ad Block, etc.).

Hello!
In total pair questions to knowing people.
In what bank it is possible to take the loan 10000 $ on a floor of year?
Where it is better to go to have a rest this summer?
What machine is better for buying for 20000 $.
It's an abstract globe made of chromed metal (appropriately). And though I agree that it lacks immediate recognition for non-techy types who know what it is, you have to admit that it really stands out in a crowded Dock or System Tray on Windows. And because of the colors, it truly fits into the Google brand nicely.
I must admit though, I much prefer the "Chromium" (OSX beta) version of the logo - where it's all shades of blue instead of mutli-colored.

I agree, it works well in the dock or system tray and it fits for Google.
I don't see the globe, nor the Chrome. I think chrome is the mirror shiny metal that you see on Harleys. It's a thin layer or chromium metal covering metal objects. I don't think it comes in colors.

Too bad it doesn't support Tiger OS
Chrome OS, Google’s newly announced computer operating system. There are several reasons why you should get this new Google Operating System or Chromes OS. The big news on the software front these days is about the Google operating system that is beginning to debut. The Google operating system is being released as a competitor to Windows 7, and the Google OS, or Chrome OS, bears the same name as the internet browser they released last year, and best of all will be free. It is set to begin debuting on netbooks, and its primary focus is online applications. Press for it has said that they geared it to plug the gaps in internet security of most OS packages. It's good to know that you can get the Google operating system without needing payday loans and the unending amount of registration that comes with Microsoft products.
