Path shortcut for Terminal

Have you ever had to type up a full path to a file on your hard disk in Terminal? It can be a dauntic task and one can easily make a typo making the whole command to fail. This is especially the case when you have spaces in folder or file names.
There is a simple way to autotype file or folder path. Just navigate to the file or folder in question in Finder and drag the file or folder itself into Terminal. This operation will instantly insert the path just as if you had typed it in. You can do this operation at any time and any number of times.

That is pretty cool. You can also hit tab to autocomplete the directory and file name.
For instance
/Users/username/
Type the first letter of the filename or directory, then hit tab, and it will autocomplete the name. You can do this through every level...

Thanks!
I don't use terminal too much, but can really see how this could come in handy.
