Spotlight file location

Spotlight show fileSpotlight is fast at looking up files but when you click the result it immediately opens up the file in the respective application.

What if you want to look up the location of the file? You can either wait a second hovering over the search result to see a yellow hint appearing with the path to the file. Or, if you want to open a Finder window with the selected file just hold down the Apple (Cmd) key when clicking on the search result.

a bit off-topic, but the command-key hides a load of functionality. pressing the command-key while clicking on the title-bar of a browserwindow for example reveals the hierarchical path to the index of the site; in the finder (or any other app) does the same thing for the window/file you're working on. gotta love those people in cupertino ;-)

I was looking for the same thing. Was aware of hovering, but not the Apple key shortcut. Thanks Ivan!
