Macbook Pro? what?

Doug M.'s picture

Didn't Apple just release an updated version of the macbook pro? I think they mean macbook, but why do they make the same mistake of saying macbook pro so many times?

hm, I guess that would be nice...but the new macbook pro looks so...new. Its already aluminum, I wouldn't want it to look even similar to the macbook, isnt the macbook supposed to look more like the imac too?

Im still far more interested

Im still far more interested in the macbook than the macbook pro right now. everyone is so focused on the macbook pro, in the long run, the macbook will make apple more revenue and I will definitely see more of them in my lifetime than I would a macbook pro. (I'd like a macbook pro though.... :D)

15. :D

I am only 15, and I don't have a job yet. No one seems to want to hire a 15 year old in California, for anything. 16, maybe, but for some reason businesses oppose 15 year olds. I would love to work with Apple in the future. Designing packaging, graphics, etc.
If you would like me to do freelance work for you, email me. :)

Ha. I need to get my work in first lol!
When I was 15, I bought a crappy PC and wacked in loads of RAM. It might be worth getting a job in another field (Ie retail ;) ) to save up.

Ya, I'd like to do that, but I'm too picky about these kind of things. :D I'd like to work at the Apple Store, or a health food store...and maybe a frozen yogurt shop, but those are really the only places I have any desire to work... :) Ew, PCs....

Quite a few restrictions on hiring minors in California:

You might try finding parents of friends who would be willing to employ you in accordance with CA law above. I recommend working your craft even if you can't get a job. See if you can work out a deal with your parents, an "incentive-based" pay structure for you getting good grades in return for a MacBook Pro, or other Mac. :)
