My suggestions:
• The tel and mail is too close to the bottom. Keep some padding.
• Same appliest to the web address.
• I would make the logo on the black side smaller.
• Consider losing the colored edge. It doesn't go well with the rounded shapes of the logo.
• Put the web address together with the other info on the black side. This way you will keep the blu side cleaner.
• Repost, let's see how it looks! :)

Hi Ivan, Thanks for you suggestions, it does make it more clean. I do feel though that there is still something missing, possibly a graphic, something which makes everything less central, any ideas. Thanks again Tom

Your name can be bigger, that's the most important part of the business card - who's is it? That's central. Are you missing your location? The information on the blue side could be a little more centred to the apple shape. Other than that you look good to go. This is a nice, clean card.

Unless you like gradients, drop shadows, bevels and the like ;)

I think it's decent. You can print this. Make sure to use a paper that can take that much black.

Also, next time you may want to keep the original design and post a new critique with the new version so we can see the progress. But it's ok, not a problem...

I agree with all the above ideas (make your name bigger, bring the contact details up).

In addition the card's front currently feels off-balance because the eye picks the center of the word 'MAC' as the center of the logo (rather than a point between the M and the A as it should actually be). Try moving the logo a little to the left, and the card should feel more balanced and polished.

I haven't seen the previous ver. of the card, but can tell you, whats making THIS card not completed or finished.

# 1st the LOGO, its not yet a finished and complete one, as if you see, the M & A overlap making it different/spaced from the C and breaking the compactness. Now the space between the Apple and MAC is too big to be a compact logo. If you put the MAC a bit inside of the Apple and spread the SOLUTIONS part from APPLE starting to the end of C of MAC, I think it will look more compact.

# I don't know why all the time MAC need to have an APPLE diet, can't it stand alone or more cleverly, so that it not look like a Apple Subsidiary.

# Now check front of the card, the space under & over the matter in card is not same which making it disturbing. Right now the logo text alignment is clashing with other body text, this is because of the extra vacuum of the logo.

# Now the fonts, when we see a B-Card we check it step by step.
1st we check his company name along with the logo
2nd the name of the on the card
3rd very quickly his/her designation
4th revers the card to see if there is something attractive, sometime without finishing the front
5th again to the logo/company name

So the logo should be the main emphasis on the card and 2nd is your name. To give emphasis on the logo it is always better not to use the same font of logo in other text of the body of card, it gives an unwanted illusion and spoil the standalone-ness of the logo.
So I think it would be better if you use Sans-serif fonts. And please do not use colors abruptly, it makes the whole thing look messy, use this two colors to make a symphony for eyes.

Hi ranamaju, I have moved the Apple across to make the logo more as one, I ahave also changed the fonts, the logo font is now NexusSans-Regular and the body text is Perpetua which I think works quite well.

I would like to add something to the design to make it less symmetrical, perhaps a graphic of some sort in the background or maybe something which is abstract and maybe asymmetrical.

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks for helping me get this far.

I think it will be better if you do not just replace the previous design, it become hard to compare, as out of sight out of mind. You can Put both updated on top of previous one and make it a single image.

Still I think its looking better then before. But If you had replace the font of body text rather than the Logos, I think it would be much better.

Your cards need a central focus, a top level element. Everything else is secondary to that. My best guess is your logo should be biggest, though I hate saying "make the logo bigger". :)

Iterate, iterate, iterate.

I fully agree, it does need a top element, the problem is what could I put there. Any suggestions.
