Made at Home

This is a home-made project for home-made products. I started to make my own supplements at home as a way to save money and to have a bit more control of what I put in my body. Since I have made more than one product, I decided I would design a logo in order to add it to labels with instructions and nutrition information so that I don't have to memorize everything.
Tell me what you guys think.

I guess for a home project this is ok. Otherwise not that great.
I know the look you're going for. I think you're mixing too many styles here. The type is like shipping containers, the made at home is high-tech, the tape is office supplies. I would go with something simpler and just one typeface that looks really like handwriting: http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=603
i agree with ivan.
i would also point out that you may not want to make it look *too* "handmade." this is something people would be purchasing to put in their bodies, right? yes, it's handmade, but i would think if it looks poorly done, it might make people think twice about the quality of what's been put inside the container.
I'd just use a sharpie. Really. It's for your own use right?
havent you ever heard "never buy a mechanic's car" ?

To add to what Ivan and gwells have said: Do you want it to look rushed or hand-crafted?
By 'rushed' I mean hand-scrawled on the top of a take-away box, or a hand filled-in form where it serves an information purpose. By 'hand-crafted' I mean something more carefully put together such as a stencilled logo or a more embelished design. Both routes could work really nicely for your products.
Good points so far. I think your packaging needs to convey that the product has been carefully made under exacting conditions with attention to purity, authenticity and all that. You deserve that assurance! :-) Just because something is homemade doesn't mean it has to look sloppy.

Thanks for your comments. This was something I put together rather quickly to put on a label rather to having a plain white label with the instructions. I will continue to experiment with the idea. Thanks again.
