im not too sure what kind of mag it is but the blue seems too heavy to me, esp if its going to have other pages next to it with different colours, its also swallowing in the different logos on the lower part of the page. to me it would work better as an electronic page all on its own, looks too much like a microsoft ad or something of theirs to me. lastly think about creating white space around the tiny works, ie paste them inside a white box they would view better.

its only design when it works!!
Great add but there are too many image samples so none of them gets the attention they deserve. Can you pick just one or two images to highlight?

I think most magazine publishers would want to shoot you for delivering an ad like this to them. What will they be able to print on the verso? That's an awful lot of dark ink coverage you've got there.
The gradient line thing is just horrid -- looks even worse in larger format like this than on your "flyer." It's clearly just an out-of-the-box Photoshop gradient and isn't even balanced well. What is your light source for the variations in light and shadow? THINK!!!
And what's with the concentric rings of stars in the upper right-hand corner? Looks like a US Federal agency emblem trying to invade you.

Now I Know why you criticize designs in that way, you reeeaallyy are a master of design... ooops, sorry, i am being a little bit sarcastic...
I was checking your webpage, let me tell you, your work is totally awful, i think you should better get into archeology (you know what I mean, you are stuck in the past) there technologies superior to an old offset machine, i think that fits you...
Sorry but it is true...
Bye
No matter who tries to shoot you. :D

thank you very much for your comment
i hope you dont believe in this shoot you down theory, speaking for myself to critique something is all about bringing to light things about your work that you might have missed, or taken for granted, magazine ads to me are all about simple easy to read get the massage, research shows people mostly buy magazines they already know or have an interest in, plus they tend to rush through them so cleaner easy to read is better.

i hope you don't believe in this shoot you down theory, speaking for myself to critique something is all about bringing to light things about your work that you might have missed, or taken for granted, magazine ads to me are all about simple easy to read get the massage straight up rather than pose and figure out whats going on, research shows people mostly buy magazines they already know or have an interest in, and they tend to rush through them compared to journals and books, so cleaner easy to read is better in selling an idea/product.
that said there is no direct attack on your skills, so shooting down is too strong a word here.
good luck

Hey now, let's all remember design is a subjective thing and not get too snippy with our critiques...

let's all remember this is a site where people come to get and give an honest critique, not just a pat on the back. (That's what deviantart is for.)

Right, that would be the opposite extreme that we also don't want. :)

Hola amigo,
Saludos!

Hello friend,
Let's see, I like it, that's the first thing that I will say, but I believe that there are some things that divert my attention, for example: the gray gradient and the orange mark below, I believe that they contrast too much; I would recommend to you that since the theme is already blue and white, that follows should be blue and white as well (perhaps with a white background).
The other that bothers me more or less are the two small logos to the left that are cut off, I don't know...it doesn't seem to me that you should cut a logo that way for two reasons:
1. It isn't very visible, and 2. Imagine if your client (whose logo you have just cut off) sees it? It's not a good idea, ha ha.
Greetings to all...
