Makes total sense though. I am always getting clients asking me to send them their logo in different sizes. I ALWAYS design logos in Illustrator (of course), so it just makes me laugh when they request that. I guess they don't understand the vector-thing very well.
That's why we get paid the big bucks in our profession! LOL
Same way as I don't understand the difference between two different types of banking loans, they don't understand the difference between vector and raster.
I love the site. It is so true, especially the white space. I feel that if I send the site to the client they'll dump me though. Clients really believe in that.
Another way to describe this malady to them is to use a car as an example. The logo has to be a certain size or it overwhelms the car itself. Imagine a BMW with the hood logo half the size of the trunk. Any client can see that's insane, and it makes you look like the design hero rather than shoving their silliness in their face. :)
