Can you tell us more about the gallery and the market it's trying to reach?
Even without this info I like #2 best. More personality than the other logos.

I agree, we need some more info about the gallery. I personally lke #3 and #6 :)
I like 2 and 5.
I like number 2, I would work with that. It's the only one I see that could stand alone without 'gallery' and be legible; effective together or apart. Good work so far!
I'd make it a dark mustard yellow. C:40 M:25 Y:100 K:0 or a deep red C:30 M:100 Y:100 K:40
That's my 2 cents.

Thx for feedback, the description was so short for this work:
this gallery will manage exhibitions and auctions (mainly contemporary paintings), the name came from the client, as it has sort of spiritual nutriment implications (and is of Jewish origin). I tried to base the logo on the fruit concept :)
(the #2 is designed like a bar code - Art for sale - my clients likes it too :), shiftmedia thx for color idea)
I like number two as well, but I don't see it as a barcode (still like it the best though!) Plus, I'm not sure if people would make the connection barcode=art for sale. If that's the case, then I would rather see number five with the circle in red, like how they put the red sticker next to the sold paintings.

no #2 is what i liked best at first sight!
the 2 as well, not 3 and 4
my client's favourite was 2nd too - so next step is coloring.
There was a very short period to design this logo and as I saw, primary this gallery is a market place and secondary an exhibition area, so one of my quick (ironic) idea was the barcode - but I'm glad if it can live withouth this connection.
