MBP battery dead?
Ivan | Mon, 2006-07-03 12:24I get a X in the menubar icon for the battery. I tried to charge but it doesn't work. When I press the silver button on the battery the first led is blinking in green.

your MBP is about to explode!
Based on recommendation at macminute I've tried resetting the PRAM and resetting the PMU, but still no luck! :(
How many times has it been recharged? I read somewhere that MBP batteries only can be charged about 200 or 300 times.
You may want to get your battery checked out at an Apple store. The MBP aren't that old, so it should still be under warrenty. If you do not live near an Apple store, you can always call 1-800-APL-CARE, which is an Applecare line for technical support and get some assistance there.
