membership charge logo

This is my first draft for a logo that I'm working on for a credit card processing company. Which way do think should I be going? Any thoughts or comments? Let the critiques begin!

Tough one...
None of them really jump out at me, but if I had to choose one I guess I would go with the top one of #2. I like the bolder "membership."
#1 is definitely out for me - it just look awkward to me, and the card slanted down just brings some kind of "negative" thought when I look at it.
I don't mind the brown and orange, but I think black & orange would be much more impactful.
They're a great start, but I feel like there's just something missing from them.

I have to agree here. There's nothing super amazing about them, but nothing bad. I hate when that happens. It feels very ups to me. The font and brown maybe. Not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation.
I guess i just feel that in the slew of processing companies, this doesn't have enough uhmp to stand out from them. good start maybe?
life is great; without it, you'd be dead.
Maybe do something with "charge card?"
I agree with the above comments. I think you have an excellent opportunity to push these logos with something related to a charge card - besides the basic rounded box. I think you have a great start - but push it further. I think I like number 3 most, because it looks most like a credit card. Maybe add some cards, like they just came from a wallet. It's just an idea - but I definitely would push it further.

Based on your client, being as a credit card company should be very reliable and serious, I would go for something more like #4.
Maybe just some really cool and clean typograhy logo, I don“t think the cards are adding info. (you already get that picture from "charge").
Remember, we're working for clients, not for ourselves and the goal of a logo is to reflect the companys values and attributes.
