I like "finial 1_fullcolor"

It just seems to be the most "reflective" and fit the mood IMHO.

Finial 1 BnW and Final 3 are good too. (I do like #1 full color the most though!) Finial 2 looks less professional.

Good job overall!

I really love the baby

I really love the baby image... very neat. I think it looks fine like that but maybe someone else can give you some ideas.

check your grammar.

being a list, and even though much of the country writes: item1, item2 and item3; it is best to write item1, item2, and item3...

without the second comma, my mind is trained to group item2 and item3... follow?

also, your eye may be a bit distracted with the inner borders being different on both the image and the white part with the text...

those are my 2 scents. (hee hehe)

I like the black and white,

I like the black and white, but some red is missing from the image. If you could add some read into the flag it would work well. Otherwise go with the full color version. All good options!

bottom of the image

I know its being really picky but the bottom of that image bothers me, the way it arcs just a little bit and fades. did you try it with just a straight sharp edge?

And on type since you asked, have you tried using a sans-serif font in the sentence below the title?

copy copy seems seems repetative repetative

It seems like the headline and body copy don't read all that well together. "This memorial day" and then i see it again... "may you find a moment this memorial day" maybe your headline needs rethinking, maybe tie it in with the baby or something about learning about our past is key to our future or our children's future...I dunno something like that. The headline just seems weak and wasted on this nice layout.

I really like the B&W

I really like the black and white with the colorized flag.
I agree with Ivan where he says some red is missing out of the flag...and though there isn't any room there to add some red, perhaps the dark part on the baby's sweater could be...just to have some in there. That's just an idea.

Also, I like the font you used. But if you're unhappy with it maybe find one that is a bit more seriffed (is that a word?). You see old stone memorials with names carved in them, and the fonts generally used in stone carving are often heavily seriffed...giving it a more traditional, classic, timeless look. Also a lot of the time they will use either all caps, or small caps. But like I said, personally, I don't mind the fonts.

Great work and great photo choice...sets the mood quite well.

I HOPE YOU ARE GETTING PAID ALOT

I HOPE YOU ARE GETTING PAID ALOT to use the sacrifice of memorial day to sell homes.

Of course as far as the looks go, the first one is pretty good! the second is losable and the last is obviously where you started, so keep pushing yourself, it will keep getting better.
