Messed up type
kenyabob (303 pencils) | Tue, 2005-06-07 06:37Last night I was hitting a bunch of key commands, and I hit a terrible key sequence I guess. Now, whenever I compose anything in mail, Helvetica Cryllic Upright is the default font. Also, when adium asks if I will accept a file transfer, its in Cryllic upright. Now, if I select that text and paste it somewhere else, like TextEdit, it returns to normal. Also, in Adium, I cannot use italic fonts. What did I do, and better yet, how do I go back to the old style? I have already deleted the mail prefs, but that didn't work! Any help would be great.

If so make sure you disable helvetica and helvetica neu if you have it in suitcase. That should solve your problem.

But I like Helvetica. How do I change the default system font?
I am guessing that there is a conflict with helvetica and suitcase or whatever font program you have. Turn off helvetica in suitacase, it sounds like your system fonts aren't getting along with your font program.

Yep, sure enough there was a pesky font in there. Cleaning up a little bit took good care of it. Thanks!
