Want to provide the service of a boutique with the horsepower of a large pre-press / print house. Depending on the task will determine what method is used for the solution... Please let me know your thoughts.

I see what you're trying to attempt here...variety of styles...but my first impression of it was "am I having a stroke"?
"creative productions" will be lost at a reduced size.
I like the name, but feel you need to sit down and doodle some more...even if you've already done 60 or 80 scribbles all ready.

I think you are going along the right lines but just need to portray it a bit better, this is really chaotic and i can imagine walking into this business and it be a mess with everyone stressed and over worked!
keep it simple, its a print shop, this branding will make or break the company.
16 billion colours and you choose the one i cant create !??!
You've got the starting point of a concept there, but it feels to me like you've jumped into illustrator too early - this mockup isn't working.
Go back a few steps to the sketching/thumbnail stage and focus on your core idea. Refine it and perfect it and then, when you are confident that you know what it is, move to illustrator.
Could use a lens flare.
A strong one.
Are you sure it's not phallic too?
Print and prepress is all about perfection. This looks like the #1 prepress nightmare - font defaults. You might go in this direction for a creative business, but not if you're planning to incorporate printing and prepress too. Those guys are the anal end of the business. You need to bridge the gap.
