Microsoft Word - Quick Q

I've accidentally disabled the autoborder feature, which when when you make a line like this:

after you press return, it should turn to this:

So now im stuck with the first one as it wont autoconvert it, anyone know where I navigate too to change this back? :$

I had found how to turn off/on autoborder a few minutes earlier but now it places the borders in like clumps of threes (when i try to make a border for the top pf a page it instead appears on the bottom of the page befroe it) :@
Im now whipping all my word stuff into Indesign.
I really loath Word.

I wish more companies would adopt InDesign for documents, or alternatively Mircosoft would pull it's finger out and actually give an easier way for multipage layout.
Once you get use to InDesign and master pages, everything else seems so wrong...
