i like modo&lightwave,best 3d tools.modo 201 now.

Looks like a nice app and one I've considered but this is a kind of spammy way of advertising the product, especially on the front page. Maybe a tutorial on modelling would be more useful for the CB forum rather than a press release

Nice interface

I've played around a bit with modo, it has a very nice feel to it overall. I've used Maya, Softimage, and Max, and it definitely is creeping up on Softimage in this regard. Has anyone used this program in a production setting? I couldn't really get a grip on the texturing/lighting side of things... if there is one.

I am selling an unopened full version of modo on EBay. It sounds like most of you guys already have it, but if you know someone who wants a version of this app and doesn't want to pay $700, they should check out the auction. Sorry about the shameless plug, I'm just trying to get the word out to people who might be interested.
