Phallic.
I really don't see the connection, and since you're not responding to critiques, I'm not even going to waste my time with this.

The trident turned upside down to form the stylized "M" of Montego Bay is a throw back to both the nautical aspect of the trading company as well as the coastal location by representing Poseidon's trident while at the same time also relating to the heat and fire (Satan's trident) that goes along with their business of hot peppers and hot sauces. I'm not really seeing the "anchor" but if that's what some see it still works for the nautical tie in. The logo is intended to represent both the location of the company and it's business through those two concepts.
Well then - it works perfectly... for you.
Seriously - I think you have the genesis of an idea here. The trident (which I don't really see either - no handle) can be taken as directional arrows (for trading). However, you need to do a LOT of fixing to make it work - the chili doesn't look like a chili pepper to me. A redder red would help in that respect - but it seriously needs to be redrawn as well. Outline text is a no-no virtually everywhere - especially logos. And in this instance - you don't even need it - knockout text would work just as well here. The circular piece where the name is written is extraneous imho - don't see any reason for that either - it just makes it harder to figure out the rest of it.
Phallic.
No connection i think...
I think it's a good start point, the phallic is unavoidable in this case, it's not a case that the penis comes as a surprise. Maybe the chili needs to be bigger.
yes I'm brazilian xD
satans penis.
Thanks everyone for the Constructive Criticism. When you're too close to a project you tend to see correlations that you think are there but are lacking. It's good to get an outside opinion.
