My brother asked me to design him a logo for his independent music label. I wanted the bars to represent downtown buildings as well as audio meters. I want them to stand out which is why I chose such a bright color with a dark background, kinda like city lights on a night sky. I'm still learning the craft of graphic design.

its visually appealing. but wont reproduce worth a crap. and id work on your type choice and handling...
one of the long-standing rules of a good logo is that it has to work in solid black and white. im not sure the "meters"metaphor would. give it a try
