If you could have music playing on your website, and you could get away with it without annoying or scaring anyone off, what would you choose?...for your home page? your portfolio section? your contact info? your link page?

Personally detest music on web sites

I personally detest any music playing on a web site unless it's part of a streaming video or I'm sampling music clips, like for iTunes.

If I were forced to put music on my web site, it would have to be something pretty soft and ambient. i'd probably take a huge poll and make sure the majority of people hearing it aren't annoyed by it.

Indian song. I love this!

They played it at the beginning of the Inside Man movie. However, I don't know if I'd play it continuously throughout my website though.

I agree with the above comment from KellyR, I loathe music on people's websites. Especially the ones that I'm not expecting and then it makes me jump out of my chair. Ugh!
