I like the background wall paper effect( is it your original art work?? ) and the grey and blue colour combo..then again I like pretty sites as long as they are easy to navigate through.
Straight forward and clean.
Couple things need a quick fix...
1. The margins are too skinny.
2. The bulleted list of expertise on top look like navigation,
they are static are they not? Not crazy about that placement, or bullets in general for that matter.
nice work.
3. The photo of ferris wheel could be tilted to alleviate trapped blue space underneath (see the triangle under your name and photo?)
That's what I see at first glance. Though I've got to give alot of credit to anyone who has a functioning freelance site. I've been full time independent for four years and still don't have one!
LOVE IT!
Only recommendation, make sure to not be afraid of capital letters in your section titles and make the links consistent. Your home page title is the same as the link/title of the next section. Confusing UI.
Otherwise, great stuff.

Looks good!
I think you could draw more attention to the links by giving them rollovers. Also, the contrast with the links on the right side is not high enough in my opinion. I can barely see it on my bright LCD, I doubt anyone with an old CRT could see them at all.
Generally great job, though, kudos :)

Hm, several concerns - this didn't really come across as a portfolio site to me initially, it looks more like a blog. Which works for your blog page, but is a little unfitting for the rest of the site.
It took me while to figure out how to navigate through your site, because the navigation links blend with the title/logo, and they do not have rollovers. Also, having both side bar and top nav is a little overwhelming for the amount of content there actually is.
I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme and how it changes on every page - I think the different colours would work better for a company who has different sub sections (ie. Art, Sound, Film). It feels too much like you're going to different websites to me.
I do not like the use of the web 2.0 badge and promo piece in the first entry on the home page. I would personally stay the hella way from that fad.
The navigation/text on the right side column is hard to read because of the colour of the text on the colour of the background. That is on every page/colour.
The pattern/wallpaper effect as previously commented on can be nice for a background, but I think it makes your page too busy when carried into the banner.
The banner "image" cut out, or whatever you'd like to call it, looks...incomplete. There are random little bits of it floating above the right side column, and it just doesn't flow from banner to content very well.
The bottom of the contact page is broken, fyi.
Overall I think it's a good start, but definitely needs some tweaking. I think making it look more like a portfolio site rather than a blog would be my biggest suggestion. It's not really clear.

I actually like the changing color scheme - just interesting. The only thing I see is that the lighter-colored text over the top of the colored background on the right really needs to either be darkend up a lot or lighted up more, because it's a bit hard to read (especially on the violet and green pages).
Your email address at the bottom of the righthand navigation is also falling out of the bulleted list when viewed in Safari.
I agree it DOES scream "Blog Page" to me, though, and I would initially think I'm just viewing someone's weblog before I ever thought this was an actual portfolio site. Is that your intent?
Thanks for sharing! :)
Really really sexy and pleasant to be with.
