My logo
Artqlated Design (32 pencils) | Tue, 2009-09-29 21:23My logo is pure typography. In this image is within the context of a business card. Could I please have a constructive critique on the logo?

What's the concept. What's the squiggly line. Why is articulated misspelled. Why those fonts. What the heck.

The typo is nice, but it's a little tight. Make is a bit smaller to give is some space on the sides.
The bottom area feels disorganizes and confusing.
I think a little too much is going on. The squiggly line i wouldn't include as part of the logo. looks good for the back of a business card! just dont forget the bleed ;)
Not knowing the concept, nor understanding why articulated is spelled as it is, it looks nice. Kern the big A to the right a bit, cut off the squiggly mess at the bottom, and call it a day.
You spelled it wrong. The correct spelling is...
R-T-Q-LATED
Let's see... it's goofy, it makes no sense and it's a vertical card... so why do I like it? Maybe it's the color. That's a nice shade of blue. I say run with it except for one thing... what Ivan said. It's too tight to the sides. On small pieces like this the trim is more likely to be off and the closer the art is to the edge of the paper - the more noticeable the disparity. You need to double that margin on both sides.
Surely you mean R.T.Q.L.8.D?
I like it, the only thing is that the logo at the top looks like a smily face my younger cousin always ends her text messages with, :D
16 billion colours and you choose the one i cant create !??!
And he seems to be wearing a pointy hat...hmmm...

I didn't even think of that....now that's all I see! Sort of ruins the sophisticated look he seems to be going for.
Seriously - you bring up a good issue. In this day and age of texting and emoticons, it is a point we need to be aware of.
