If the whole thing is the logo then it's WAY too busy. No need to say everything you do on your logo; that's what your marketing is for. :)
Can you strip it down to its bare essentials (I see your logo as the guy and the Miguel Design Studios text) and present in black and white?

I think you have some good elements going on that have potential however I agree with the above statements that it is too busy. Try cutting one of the loud colors out and balancing the remaining too with nuetral.
I think this could lead you in the direction of some fun handout marketing pieces. I do more than just design ( appearal, vehicle graphics, large format) but I try and leave something with everyone. Even a small sticker stapled to my biz card, or a 4x6 info card, maybe even a shirt if it is called for (i am a little tacky like that, however if it is done right it will be appreciated). So don't throw this away but simplify for the logo, and keep the louder stuff for specialty apps.
