I've just finished my own business cards. I'm also a freelance cameraman in the UK and I wanted something different. So, there's some bright colours and a short CV on the rear.

I like the image and it's contrast with the background. The back...well...not too crazy about it. A resume shouldn't be on a business card. Never. Ever.
Don't mind the resume that much. One thing I would change is the space around the "floating head". The text is too tight. It might look nice in the cenre as well, with text around it, instead of up in the corner. But that's a preference.
Other than that... I think these are pretty nice, yes, very nice.
I agree the floating head is really the best feature on this card. Put it in the center of the burst area on the front...I'm not too high on the resume on the back; it's illegible and in lower case. Just put a weblink there and keep it simple.
Totally A. Powers--rockin' 60's feel with this one. However, the white between the feet is bothering me--I'd cut the white trace in nearer to the body.
Also, since you're reversing text from a light blue, I'd either beef it up or go black; otherwise you might run into legibility issues. Font's all right, but I'd take a look at Lubalin Graph or the Meta family to marry in better with your graphics.

You achieved "something different", which is good. I like it, it will catch the eye and many will probably show it to friends just because of the look. I would work on the text kinda close together.
I like the concept, but I have a hard time reading the white print on the "striped" background. It's not that it isn't legible -- more like it's making me dizzy while trying to read it.
Also, the font choice doesn't seem to match the style of the graphic and background. Seems too professional and elegant for the "retro" surroundings.
My suggestion would be to just stay more consistent with the theme. Other than that I like the concept, and I think the resume being there is a matter of opinion. I usually like simpler cards, but I think this works here.
I love it. I think the resume on the back is more a design element than a proper informational piece, however I agree a better font choice would be in order.
I also agree that the font around the head is too tight... it definitely requires a circular free area around it!

Over all thought, I really like it!

It's pretty alright. I don't really like the "live trace" look of the image. How does it look as a real clean and crisp image?

Otherwise, two thumbs up here dude!
