captonjohn (347 points) | Sun, 2009-09-13 16:34Developed concept which I uploaded previously. After several revisions and changes I decided this logo for me. Please critique.

I like -- except your N is backwards. Do you think that's going to be a problem?
Mara
I agree. Otherwise I like it. Very feminine. Is it intended?
Its great to see something that is fresh and new on creativebits. With that being said this piece is solid! Nice work!
Flip it upside down and the letters work. Does the logo work? That depends... are you the $14 logo guy?
just reflect horizontally only the letter "N" and it'll work!
i liked so much, congratulations!
yes I'm brazilian xD
good job..! looks cool....nice color combi.....try capitalising the text??
Creation - an act of destruction?
Hi, welcome to CreativeBits. Now let me argue with you! ;-)
I think that capitalizing the text would remove the softening effect of the rounded letters, which the logo needs. Otherwise, it would be too sharp.
Of course, to give the devil his due, the origami look of the mark itself might be enhanced by echoing that crisp edginess in the words.
I suppose it's all just a matter of personal taste at this point.

Is there some kind of fuzzy embossed line under the whole logo, or am I imagining things? You sure don't need that, so if there's something there, I'd recommend that you lose it.
I feel like a mommy. When I think back to your first posts here, and how harshly we often criticized your work, and then see how far you've come with this...just wow. Good going :-)

mara06,
There is no any such line, after reading your doubt about shadow I simplified it and now it is just a combination of triangles. I've tested this logo in single color and it worked because I solved that problem by keeping gape between all the triangles in single color version .
Thanks a lot for being fair to me I was aware about that that's why I didn't stopped learning from your comments and keep tried for better. It's continuous process and I've to learn a lot here. Thanks to all for taking time to comment here for my submission.

Thanks to all to criticizing this work. Let me add some more details about logo.
1. I mirrored letter 'N' with specific purpose that after doing that letter "N" and "K" appears a mirror image to each other.
2. Another reason to flip the letter "N" was that I wanted a triangle in my logo because triangle represents greater stability, action and most important it appeals me. A triangle with upward direction indicates continuous growth and raise in strength.
3. The word "keshkar" is in color because I wanted to highlight my surname more then my name without dominating my name.
4. Last reason why I choose this color scheme was that I tried many colors but it appealed me a lot. Orange color is most widely used in identities, red I felt too loud. So I used this color as it represents freshness and is cool. Of course it seems a little feminine but when it comes to creativity I preferred to go beyond conventional colors for my brand that's it.

I really like this alot, it looks good, you've obviously put a lot of work into it and others appreciate it as well.
However, to me - the N is still backwards. Personally, I'd solve that.
As always - jmho.
Commenting your first version, jHouse said he'd seen this before, I myself had same impression, here is one that pretty much was done under same concept and design trend. This is not saying the design is a rip-off. http://www.logomoose.com/logo-design/kite-string-studio/

I like this one better actually. That is... of course... if you find a way to reverse the N so it reads correctly.
This logo totally rocks...

Except for the trademark. Fix that and then it TOTALLY ROCKS!
Didn't got, what you want to say. Do I need a single color version for trademark?

No - the trademark comment was in reference to the logo on the other website - not yours.
You seem to be happy with your logo, so I am happy for you. Nice work.
Fantastic use of negative space. I love it!

I have one question - Which side is folded on front side in letter "K"? Light pink or dark violet?
