Hi guys, I made this website for myself and my final school portfolio project. I'm done school now, but i have mixed feelings about this site. I do plan to redo the site but i just wanna hear what others think, and yes the lil xbox avatar is gonna change to a real picture of me lol. thanks. http://design-struck.com
First impressions: After the word "hello," you begin the next three sentences with "I." This isn't particularly engaging. "I design pure awesomeness. I do this. I do that..." Yawn. You're a designer, but I have to scroll through a boring bio I don't care about to see your designs.
Think about that.
The first thing I see on your design website ISN'T DESIGN! You think that's really the best way to capture the viewers' attention? Save the bio for Face Book; your design site should showcase your work.
Speaking of... your work looks good. It's just a shame people won't see it because your site failed to capture their attention. Try again, and don't hold back this time.

where is the design work dude? Right at the bottom. Bring that to the top.

The blue text is hard to read: Too bright and kerning is gay.
The content of the text is not very convincing either, in addition to the punctuation mistakes.

Your portfolio is interesting but your site makes me sleep even with that thunderbolt.
Your personal data should move.
Don't start the text as a little boy. Think big. It's a business now.
Email is simply email, don't need anything more... and you made a strange grid, I hate it. "Services" seems a little table cell, it's very annoying. You could show less "table" aspect.
The paragraph space makes me lost. The font kerning is a disaster. I can't read it,
Valorize your jobs! I think it's too much discreet. We liked that Ron's Electric logo =D
The menu is not working and it's unnecessary for a while. maybe the "back to the top" could be there or not.

thanks for the input. You guys just made me more motivated to start the rebuild now. I've noticed I always seem to screw things up my first time around on things lol, but thats design can't always be perfect.
